This equipment has been designed to study the hydraulic behavior and the settling efficiency of a sedimentation tank.
TRAINING PROGRAM:
• Displaying the hydraulic behavior by a tracer
• Comparing actual and theoretical hydraulic behaviors
• Effect of the flow rate and of baffle position on sedimentation
• Determination of settling efficiency
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
• Framework of AISI 304 stainless steel with castors
• Tank of clear methacrylate with capacity of 80 litres and section for mixing tap water and suspension
• Suspension feed tank with capacity of 120 litres and recycle pump
• Variable area flowmeter for tap water
• Peristaltic pump for suspension, 0-170 l/h
• Power supply: 230 Vca 50 Hz single-phase – 0.5 KVA (Other voltage and frequency on request)
