Suitable to study several types of Automatic Control and can be used to control different variables (Flow, Level, Temperature, Pressure, pH, Conductivity and TDS) in several way. The control is done automatically by acting through a speed controller. The main elements of the base unit are as described below:-

  1. Storage Tank & Collector : Provided at top of unit with hole in central dividing wall and drainage in both compartments (methacrylate).
  2. Dual Process Tank : Provided, interconnected through an orifice and ball valve and overflow in the  dividing wall, preventing the complete flooding of the tank and allowing to modify its effective liquid volume.
  3.  Hydraulic Circuit : Composed by two centrifugal circulation pumps, two flow meters, three all/nothing solenoid valves and a speed controller for control (located on one of the pumps).
  4.  Helix Stirrer : Provided, which guarantees a good uniformity of variables to be controlled. Elements for different parameters such as

    Base Unit Construction : Anodized Aluminum Frame and Panels, Made of painted steel. Main metallic elements made of stainless steel. Diagram in the front panel with distribution of the elements similar to the real one. This unit is common for the required elements (at least one) (Supplied at EXTRA Cost).
    Transparent Main Tank and Collector with an orifice in the central dividing wall (2 x 25 Ltrs.), and drainage in both compartments.
    Transparent Dual Process Tank (2 x 10 Ltrs.), interconnected through an orifice and a ball valve and an overflow in the dividing wall; a graduate scale and a threaded drain of adjustable level with bypass.
    Centrifugal Pumps : 2 Nos., Range : 0 – 10 l/min.
    Variable Area Flow Meters : 2 Nos., Flow Rate : 0.2 – 2 Ltr./min, and 0.2 – 10 Ltr./min), and with a manual valve.
    Line of ON / OFF Regulation valves (solenoid). Usually one is normally opened, and the other two are normally closed, and manual drainage valves of the upper tank.
    Pump Speed Control : Computer controlled pump variable speed controller (located into the Control  Interface Box); Range : 0 – 50 Hz.
     Control Unit : Includes Advanced Real-Time SCADA and PID Control. Open Control + Multi-control  + Real-Time Control.
    Control Software : Provided based on LabVIEW. National Instruments Data Acquisition board (250 KS/s, kilo samples per second).
     Calibration Exercises : Provided teach the user how to calibrate a sensor and importance of checking  accuracy of sensors before taking measurements.
     Silent Features : Projector and/or electronic whiteboard compatibility allows the unit to be explained  and demonstrated to an entire class at one time. Capable of doing Applied Research, Real Industrial Simulation, Training Courses, etc
